据台湾“今日新闻”报道，依照检方起诉书，吴淑珍的贪污所得比陈水扁高出美金2735000元，至于新台币部份两人贪污所得则是同为104152395元。
检方在起诉书中指出，吴淑珍长年享受最优渥俸给，生活已甚富裕，竟利用地位，为图夫妻及子女私利，巧取公务及私人巨额不法财物，再以人头洗钱隐匿犯罪所得财物，“任意指挥政府官员，大肆干政”。
检方指出，吴淑珍洗钱手法遍及岛内外各地区，追查困难，犯罪手段十分惡劣，復利用权势大量蓄积财物，贪得无厌，品行甚差，犯罪后不但否认犯行，更推诿责任予听命无奈之公务员，犯罪后态度卑劣。
检方认为包括陈水扁、吴淑珍、李界木、蔡铭哲、蔡铭杰、蔡美利等人，自2004 年1 月起至5月底止共收取台泥辜成允11980000美元贿款，若加计另笔来源待查3500000美元汇款，合计美金15480000元，其中，陈水扁及吴淑珍各取得新台币1亿元贿款，合计6000000美元，因此，检方请求法院从重量刑。
