本论文以家庭理财理念与方法为中心，结合当前经济状况与消费市场形势，对家庭理财的基本思想与发展方向进行了客观且科学的阐述与分析。理财发展到今天，已经逐步成为一种生活理念，一种生存与发展的基本元素，而家庭理财与生活息息相关，它不同于公司理财等事业或社会型理财，但却和所有理财类型有着基本共通的思想。一个好的家庭理财习惯可以使生活的节奏感更强，使金钱在生活中的使用效率达到最趋近于理想的状态。本系统采用Visual Basic 6.0进行编写，数据库采用 Access2003 ，通过建立数据源，VB与后台数据库连接来运行。本文以界面友好，操作简单，系统安全、实用为原则，在完成了家庭财务管理系统的需求分析、功能模块划分、数据库模式分析的基础上，设计了数据结构与应用程序。通过对系统的运行与测试，说明本文中所设计的家庭财务管理系统可满足用户家庭理财的需要。
