我想说:我们不知道那是伤痛（沮丧）还是有混其他杂觉。

正确应该这样说吧

We do not know if they're hurt from the depression or if they might have extra mixed feelings.

hurts改成hurt,把that改成whether好一点吧~而且不是他们混杂了其他感情，而是他们的感情混杂了其他的情绪，我想你是想表达这个意思吧~所以如果我说的话应该是：We do not know whether they are hurt from depression or other mixed feelings.

有问题。
应该改成：we don't know whether it is the depression or some other feeling.
