我正在申请一所新加坡学校 想要写封邮件问一下入学的具体情况

但是这是我第一次写比较正式的英文电邮

不知道该怎样措辞比较好..

我想要问一下是不是一定要参加政府的考试

还有开头和结尾怎样说比较合适

I am a student from China applying to study in your school. I just want to know whether I must pass the Government Examinations before entrance. Hope to receive your answer asap. I really appreciate it.
