本文通过对绪论的介绍，明确了课题的现状、目标、研究工作等一些相关知识。针对聚氯乙烯生产的流程中故障诊断的复杂性，对软件进行了总体设计，并以框图的形式加以说明。对所涉及的数据库也作了简单的介绍，为后面的运用打下了基础。其次，本文开发了标签TAG控件，如控件的创建、外观、属性、方法以及对页面的设置等。
本文采用VB创建了TAG控件,并添加了控件各自的属性、事件和方法，突破了传统用简单图标所代替的模式，并为后续进行工艺流程图绘制和工艺流程计算奠定了基础，较好地解决了聚氯乙烯间歇生产过程故障中的问题,能更好地满足用户的需求。
