This article discusses the design and implementation of an online high school student information management system based on the B/S mode. The system is developed with ASP.NET techniques, coded using the C# programming language and employing a backstage databank of SQL Server 2000. We focus on how to apply the B/S mode and the novel ASP.NET techniques to the student information management system and what new problems the system, as an online one, will be confronted with. Further design and development of the system can be processed based on the discussion in this article in order to gradually progress it into an OA system of student information management.
