I saw the one to stop on the other side of the street.
the one 指的是一辆车 ，改错题，应该把to 去掉，因为saw是个感官动词．这个地方呢别人说改成stoped 来修饰the one ，为什么这样不可以？

see sb. doing sth.:看见某人正在做某事
车停下来，很短的时间，当然是全程看到了。
可以用stopped，不过意思有改变，原句是看见车在停，而用stopped后成了”在看之前车早就停在那了”。
如果要用stop来修饰这辆车，只能这样说：
I saw the one which stopping（或者stopped） on the other side of the street.
