based"--"The good Women of China" by Xinran was easy to read,
reinforced our
knowledge of Chinese life-style that we had already experienced, and

also enlightening. The other book "China Shakes the World --The rise of

hungry Nation", I am still reading. This is written by Western author

Kynge and is a revelation to anyone who knows little about the Chinese
economy. I am intrigued and can certainly see that China`s economic
potential is mindblowing. China`s major strength seems to be its
determination and work ethic The biggest negative in the book seems to
focus on excessive population affecting the labour force, and the
pollution
of the environment. We are all concerned with the future of our world.
