Occupying a Seat
A man's house was Literally packed with a large number of creditors. Stoods and chairs were all occupied. As there was one more man who had no seat so he directly sat on the window-sill. At this time,the host secretly pulled the sleeve of the man and said to him in a soft voice:"You come here earlier the next morning."
The man was filled with joy for he considered that the hostmight pay him back the money first. So he teied to per-suade other creditors to go back.
The next morning the man came early as told.He said to the host:"You made an appointment yesterday to bid me to come here earlier this morning. Haven't you got ready to pay me back the money?"
The host said regretfully;"I am sorry. you sat on the window-sill yesterday.Thereason for asking you to come here earlier this morning is that you may occupy a seat."

一个人的房子结结实实地被一大群债权人给包围了,
凳子和椅子全都被(来讨债的人)占领了,
而他们中有个没有座位的男人只好直接坐到窗槛上,
正在这时,
房子的主人(就是那个被讨债的)悄悄地拉了拉这个男人的袖管,并且低声对他说:你明天早上早点来吧!
这个男人心中充满了喜悦因为他认为房主人会首先还他的钱,于是他努力试着劝说别的债权人回去.
第二天早上这个男人如约早早地到来.
他对房主说:"您昨天约了我,嘱咐我今天早上早点来这里,你是否已做好还我钱的准备了呢?"
房主人显得很抱歉地说:"对不起.昨天您坐在窗槛上,我叫你今天早上早点来的理由就是 也许你可以占到一个位子呢!
