这首小诗有什么（语法）错误吗？

仅看前3句，一个主语你用了3个时态：beside ，looks like， gave ，如果想用一般时， beside要加S， gave要变成gives（如果你要表达的意思是它曾经给人们带去光明，你可以用完成时而不是过去时）
