1.德育概念上的差异
“德育”,顾名思义,是“道德教育”的简称。西方国家的“德育”的确指的是道德教育,而我国则认为这只是狭义的德育,广义的德育则包括道德教育、政治教育、思想教育,甚至还包括心理教育、法制教育等等。我们知道,人类最初的道德规范同其他社会意识方面的规范是浑然一体,融于习俗之中的。西方“德育”一词原意即近于习俗,因此道德教育最初即为“习俗教育”,也即“社会意识教育”。到了近代,西方社会随着生产领域及社会生活领域的分化,社会关系日趋复杂化,浑然一体的社会意识渐次分化,形成政治、法律、宗教、道德等相对独立的社会意识形态。道德规范成为独立的社会意识形态后,一方面同政治规范、法律规范、宗教规范并存,另一方面又渗透着政治、法律、宗教的成分,与此相应,西方的道德教育,一方面从社会意识教育中独立出来,与政治教育、法制教育、宗教教育相互并行,另一方面又不可避免地渗透着政治、法律、宗教教育的成分。中国则不然。我国古代就以“道德”囊括各种社会意识,近代社会意识虽在分化中,但分化不充分,传统影响甚大,以致至今仍以“德育”包容整个社会意识形态的教育。
