“要想富，先修路！”站在二十一世纪的门槛上，王庄村的领导似有所悟。
于是向里向县里打报告--要支持，要赞助，要拨款。王庄村村长年轻时演过二人转，有表演天分。为要钱，打了赤脚，背着干粮步行到市里。市里感其试，一个电话打到县里，县里无奈，只好拨款。
半年后，县长微服来到王庄村，看了修的路，差点气晕过去。原来这路是从村长家修到村委会，复从村委会修到村办“鲜再来”酒家。

This mayor used to perform on stage when he was young, which showed him some kind of talent in acting. In order to get the founding, he walked all the way to the city government, bare-footed, which impressed and shocked the city government officals. Soon, a phone was made to the county government from the city. County finally granted the founding permition, unwillingly.
Six months later, the county magistrate paid Wangzhuang village an unoffical visit, during which he checked out the new road that had been build.
