本文从夫妻财产制度的内容、类型等方面对于我国夫妻财产制加以介绍，并对于我国现行《婚姻法》中的夫妻财产制度加以评价，指出其中的不足之处，并提出完善之建议。共分为三个部分。
第一部分对我国夫妻财产制度的现行规定作了介绍。现行《婚姻法》第十七条至第十九条以及最高人民法院出台的两个司法解释中的相关规定，构成了我国的夫妻财产制度。法律中对于夫妻共同财产、个人特有财产、夫妻对财产的处理权、约定财产制的类型、形式、效力等方面作出了规定。第二部分指出现行的夫妻财产制度依然存在诸多的不足之处，诸如结构不合理、内容上存在缺失、没有形成系统的体系、立法范围不明确等我国现行法律所存的弊端，并由此引出第三部分，笔者对我国的夫妻财产制的一些立法建议，增设非常法定财产、建立财产分割中潜在权益共有制度、完善约定财产及专有财产。希望能够提出一些完善我国夫妻财产制的建议。
