摘要：由于我国幅员辽阔，各地自然地理悬殊很大，经济文化发展水平也不平衡，导致各地在语言、风俗、审美心理和文艺传统上都形成了不同特点，这些文化因素综合作用于各地人民的审美情趣和民歌形式，因此我国南北方的民间歌曲有着各自显著的特点。长久以来，民歌的地方性特点是民间音乐研究的重点，并且也取得了很大的成就。但研究中很少能将南北方的代表性民歌做细致的比较。因此为了达到全面认识民歌的目的，需要用对比性的方法来观察其各自的独特之处及南北方民歌间内在的区别和联系，展现我国民间歌曲的魅力。
