The household registration system conducted by police stations is a typical information management system, the development of which consists of two major aspects, namely setting up and maintenance of backend database and developing frontend application programme. The former requires data consistency，integrity and security, while the latter requests application programmes of full functions and easy accessibility. Conforming to regulations of household management, the present system satisfies the working need of management staff and meets the requirement of intuitive, convenient, practical, and safe operation. Apart from that, it is capable to carry out add, delete, alter and query operations. This thesis discusses at length the developing, design environment and concrete implementation of the present system.
