为了满足这个市场的特定需求，本次设计就是将目标人群定位为60~70岁的老年人，通过调查对老年人群体生理、心理特点的分析与把握后，将设计定位为方便、简单、实用，不仅在软、硬界面上设计了大字体、大按键、大音量这些基本的风格特性，更是为老人们专门设置了一些非常实用的辅助性功能，如亲友快捷键、手电筒、助听器、语音读短信、读来电、读拨号、语音报时、外放收音机、京剧戏曲、SOS一键求救（按键后发出高分贝的求救音）、心形紧急拨号键（按键后向指定号码拨出求救电话、发出求救短信）、日常菜谱（可以下载和在线更新）、买菜清单、生活助理、备忘录等等，不仅极大地方便了老人们的日常生活，更是提高了老人们的生活品质。
