本文结合目前机房的用电设备管理情况，设计了一个能对机房用电设备进行实时监测和控制的用电负荷测控单元。此单元为机房环境监控系统的重要组成部分。它是一种基于总线局域网的远程控制系统，其主要功能特点如下：
1.系统基于RS-485通信接口，实现长距离串行通信。
2.具有6路开关量输入/输出，通过对输入电压和电流的数据进行采集检测，控制开关量输出，并可以控制各部分电源的远程开关。
3.通过RS-485网络、利用对Modbus格式的消息帧的接收和发送，对总线上的6路电流和1路电压进行监测。
系统可扩展性强，移植方便，减少了对硬件平台的依赖性，可更好的为机房环境监测系统服务。另外系统由于能对机房设备的工作情况进行实时监测和控制，可实现机房无人值守。
