4.1.1 Electrical Dangers
Main and secondary electrical cabinets shall be installed and spread over the site in such a manner that extension wires do not exceed 25 meters in length.
Power cables, electrical circuits of electrical relay cabinets shall comply with applicable local regulations and be protected with safe-failure devices. They shall be fixed to fences or properly earthed. Power grids are also protected and signalled.
The Contractor’s Personnel working with electrical equipment under voltage shall be trained and qualified by a registered organism. Documented training records for Contractor’s Employees shall be made available to ALE.
Reports of the electrical installation inspections shall be made by a TPAI and transmitted to ALE.
